Hello Friends and Family from Seth and Pili.
We are reaching out to you today to ask for your support. We are embarking on a 400 miles hike through the deep wilderness of Idaho, and want to use our energy and steps to raise money for an organization that we find to be essential in the fight for equality and dismantling racism. The non-profit Color of Change advocates for the progression and empowerment of our Black communities through challenging racism and injustices within multiple sectors of society by bringing awareness through online platforms and campaigns of incredible magnitude. They are based in Oakland, California, a place RIPE with Black civil rights and social justice history and community support and outreach for those in need.
If you'd like to learn more about COLOR OF CHANGE: https://colorofchange.org/
We are asking for support through monetary donations per mile, which once our hike is completed, will be given IN FULL to the organization Color of Change. Any amount big or small would be extremely appreciated.
The atrocious inequality and blatant violence deployed upon the disadvantaged communities in our country are perpetuated by it's racist roots.
We are in a state of emergency, calling for the dismantling of our current interpretation and manifestation of what is considered "free and equal" in this country.
The systemic racism in our country is upheld by our governmental, political, health, and educational systems- not to mention the further fuel our media and hateful societal norms provide for it's growth.
NO MORE!
The fight against racism, against inequality, against ignorance is a historical battle, one that has gained incredible momentum within our lifetime, especially within the past few months, and is resonating deeply within us as something we must commit to, in any way we can, especially while we are off on our hike, far from the society we want to impact.
We are feeling deeply the collective pain of the communities who are struggling, who have been denied access to basic human rights, respect and honor. Our country is experiencing a massive spiritual, social, and political upheaval and shift in ideology. People are standing up in the most massive and impactful manifestation of the Black liberation movement since the Civil Rights movement in the 60's.
By creating this fundraiser we hope to continue our personal commitments to stay in touch with this meaningful fight, fundraise for a cause we believe is directly involved with and committed to the goals we so deeply resonate with and want to support.
Thank you for your time and energy reading our manifesto, and we hope that we can all continue to stand up for JUSTICE and CHANGE in our society.

We design campaigns powerful enough to end practices that unfairly hold Black people back, and champion solutions that move us all forward. Until justice is real.
